Sammy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University. Sammy is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also credentialed in Early Intervention in the state of Illinois.
Sammy enjoys working with all age groups and collaborating with families. She has a special interest in leading social groups for children to improve their play and social communication skills. Sammy also has specialized training in pediatric feeding evaluations and therapy including training in the Sequential-Oral-Sensory (SOS) approach.
Aside from her professional interests, Sammy loves traveling, camping, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
