Sammy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University. Following the completion of her fellowship year she will receive her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association(ASHA). She is also credentialed in Early Intervention in the state of Illinois.
Sammy enjoys working with all age groups and collaborating with families. She has a special interest in leading social groups for children to improve their play and social communication skills. Aside from her professional interests, Sammy loves traveling, camping, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
