Allison is a pediatric occupational therapist (OT) who earned her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is a registered OT through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Allison has specialized training in infant and child feeding evaluations and therapy including training in the Sequential-Oral-Sensory (SOS) and Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants (SOFFI) approaches to feeding.
Her favorite aspect of working in pediatrics is building rapport with families and seeing kids expand their skill set and confidence. Allison has a special interest in sensory integration and feeding difficulties in the early intervention/early childhood population. She loves getting to problem solve with families and incorporating parents and caregivers into treatment sessions for better home carryover. In her free time she enjoys cooking, gardening, and yoga.
